Henwood Court is a lifestyle chartered financial planning and wealth management boutique based in the West Midlands, which focuses on helping individuals and their families to achieve their ambitions in life.
They approached us as they recognised that their existing brand and website were looking a little tired and out of date. At various points, they’d produced different brochures and marketing collateral so there was no consistency to the overall look and feel.
The purpose of the rebrand was not only to support Henwood’s plans for growth but also to make sure they spoke to the target audience they wanted to reach. In addition, they were keen to bring the brand more in line with their ethos of being friendly and personable.
What we did
First of all, we conducted both client interviews and an employee brand workshop to really get under the skin of the brand and to gain a proper understanding of what Henwood Court stood for.
As part of the rebranding, we then developed a rich colour palette, a new signature-style logo, new fonts and a strong visual language, which resulted in a traditional yet modern and elegant appearance. The new strapline, ‘creating your tomorrow’, vividly conveyed the idea of opportunity.
Changing clients’ lives for the better is at the heart of all that Henwood do and so it was crucial to reflect this throughout the website. We produced a carefully crafted homepage video, featuring a number of different clients who all gave powerful examples of how Henwood had given them the freedom to live the life they wanted. This was also illustrated through some engaging client stories. By heroeing their clients like this, we highlighted the company’s unique selling point in an original and memorable way which was important in a crowded and competitive marketplace.
Henwood were delighted with the outcome and feel the new website and rebrand have positioned them well to be able to reach their target audience in the future. They said they had found it invaluable to go on what had been a journey of self exploration to get to the right result.
